In this article, I’ll be providing a review on Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme a fragrance by the house of Chanel as evident by the name.
Another monster from the Allure series. Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme is a darker, heavier version of the DNA that is still fresh, pleasant, and adaptable while still having a more sensuous aspect. Despite its name, I don’t detect anything sporty in this scent, save for a smidgeon in the start. AHSEE begins with a pleasant mandarin orange note, which is complemented with a peppery, and herbal touch. This perfume is minty, bright, juicy, and slightly sweet.
Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme ingredients smell natural, and composition is well blended, and layered. AHSEE has a great, welcoming, seductive scent trail, and I believe it’s worth noting that the sillage smells a lot nicer farther away than up close.
In my opinion, Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme is a two-stage perfume. The opening is a lovely combination of mint, and orange that is both pleasant, and interesting. I like how this opens; it makes me feel both calm and sophisticated. The mint and orange fade away as the perfume dries down, leaving behind a wonderful, creamy sandalwood and tonka blend, which is what enticed me to buy my 150ml of this scent in the first place. The scent is wonderful, sultry, and a pleasurable experience to wear.
Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme is a scent that can be used in every setting, and with any clothing. It smells high-end, as one would expect from Chanel.

Chanel introduced a new men’s fragrance, Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme, to its well-known Allure Homme portfolio. The Allure Homme line had it’s first scent release back in 1999. The first scent in this range was Allure Homme Eau Fraichissante Pour l’Ete, this was followed by Allure Homme Edition Blanche, Allure Homme Sport, and Allure Homme Sport Cologne Sport, among others.
Jacques Polge, is the perfumer behind Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme. He created this distinctive blend of musky tones, acidic spices, fragrant freshness, and manly, woody composition. Cold, herbal refreshment is provided by Sicilian mandarin, mint, cypress, and clary sage. A fine quantity of black pepper adds a sour note to the fragrance, while woody masculine notes of New Caledonian cedar and sandalwood are molded and softened by seductive musk and warm tonka beans. Freshness, acidity, sensuality, sharpness, and power are all portrayed in this radical composition!
Review
The opening of the Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme is quite fresh, with one citrus note in particular standing out, and dominating the scent. The smell, on the other hand, is far from dull or inexpensive; it exudes an air of elegance, and excellent quality that distinguishes it from other traditionally fresh (and less expensive) scents.
Pepper eventually emerges in the heart note; the aroma is now spicily fresh, and it reminds me of a dominating Saubermann. The citrus notes fade into the background, yet the scent remains high quality, and wonderful.
The base notes are what elevate the fragrance for me; the first zesty fresh aroma evolves into somewhat sweet, and creamy qualities, allowing one to detect tonka bean, and woods without being harsh or irritating. The perfume is still fresh, but it has a very delicate and deep sweetness to it, making it quite appealing to the opposite sex.
Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme is a beautiful, versatile, and ubiquitous scent. While it doesn’t scream “originality,” it performs admirably in every task you throw at it. A beautiful, silky mix with a superb tonka bean note that keeps becoming smoother as time goes on.

Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme has good projection, and average sillage. The performance of the fragrance is above average, it smells like a mix of fresh, minty, powdery, and woody notes. It is mass appealing, multi faceted fragrance. An excellent contender for a signature scent status.
The lifespan of the Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme is above average, and nothing out of the ordinary. I can get around 8-9 hours of solid use from this fragrance. The fragrance does shift it’s character during it’s lifepsan. It goes from a fresh, minty, citrusy opening, to a woody, sweet, and sensual dry down. However, it keeps you smelling delectable throughout its lifespan. The fragrance is an excellent value for money, considering it smells high quality, has good projection, decent longevity, and is a perfume from the house of Chanel . CAHSEE is an excellent perfume for garnering compliments, and getting noticed.

Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extrême is an extremely versatile fragrance. It is a fragrance that can be worn throughout the year. It can work for any occasion you throw at it. Wether that be work, weddings, dates, dinners, or the gym. So feel free to rock it anytime you are in the mood for it. It’s a very intriguing, and alluring scent. However, it’s sillage smells much better from far away than up closer. People close to you will thank you for smelling so nice, and come closer to you to inquire about the scent. CAHSEE has a unique scent profile that may be added to one’s collection, and rotation during any time of the year.

Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extrême starts with mint, and mandarin orange notes. To give it an uplifting effervescent vibe, black pepper and some faint green aromatics are added. The mint and orange fade as it dries, while the tonka and sandalwood intensify. It does have an orange creamsicle flavour to it. Sandalwood may be hit or miss, and I don’t always receive the vanilla creaminess I’m looking for; instead, I get a dusty richness. All in all, a great composition.
Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extrême is a scent that is suitable for everyday life, work, and play, regardless of how you dress, whether casual or sophisticated, because it appears fresh, sweet, and noble. I’d say it’s more suited to younger males based upon the fragrance DNA.

This is one of the nicest perfumes available on the market right now in the designer category. A really Swiss Army Knife in the cologne world. It’s a song that starts off wonderful, and then turns into something huge! Great Work! Chanel.
However, I’d like to put it out there that Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extrême is not an extraordinary cologne in the way it smells. It’s a safe, versatile, every-man type of fragrance. It’s nothing out of this world, it just manages to accomplish the basics really well.
