Classic, Fresh, and Masculine! – Acqua di Giò Profumo Review
In this article, I’ll be providing a review on Acqua di Giò Profumo by Giorgio Armani.
Acqua di Giò Profumo is a true masterpiece! It’s appropriate for a variety of situations. The smell lasts the longest and projects the best of all the Acqua di Gio’s I own. The bottle’s overall appearance is fantastic. It has an attractive feel about it thanks to the magnetic cap.
Aquatic, fresh, and manly, yet with a sense of depth, owing to the presence of incense and patchouli. As a result, the aroma is a touch more manly than the original. The fundamental DNA, on the other hand, remains in the foreground, which is a positive thing.
Backstory
Acqua di Gio, Armani’s renowned masculine aquatic fragrance, debuted in 1996. Nearly two decades later, a new version of the scent, Acqua di Gio Profumo, was released, which was beautiful, airy, and deep. The scent represents the meeting of sea waves and black rocks.
Acqua di Gio Profumo is an aquatic, aromatic, woody, and spicy fragrance signature by Alberto Morillas, much like the original. It opens with bergamot and a crisp aquatic accord. Aromatic tones of geranium, sage, and rosemary are captured in the heart, which is set atop a patchouli and incense foundation.
Jason Morgan is the new face of the scent as well as the new campaign for the original. It comes in black bottles with capacities of 40, 75, and 125 mL.
Review
Acqua di Gio Profumo is an excellent scent, it’s unmistakably a “blue fragrance,” but it also manages to be “that little bit extra.” It smells a little more natural, a little sharper, a little more zingy, a little more green and herbal, a little more balanced and refined, a little more salty and foamy, a little more earthy and smokey. None of these items stand out in isolation, but when taken collectively, they generate an effect that appears to be considerably bigger than the sum of their parts. While it is and always will be a stupid reach blue Designer fragrance for me, what it does so beautifully is to master that genre without ever straying too far from its station.
It’s ideal for sunny days, and it also works nicely on milder evenings. The other versions of Acqua di Gio, I don’t believe, are as suitable for nighttime use. The initial scene is very similar to Essenza! While the Essenza stays more brilliant, aquatic, and flowery, the Profumo has a small darkening and is heavier, perhaps because of the incense, but it retains the water qualities quite clearly, without being as salty as the Traditional Gio.
In comparison to the original, the longevity was significantly increased. The olfactory profile has been somewhat altered. Iconic aquatic molecules of the DNA are tempered with incense and patchouli notes, with a hint of geranium. Morillas has created a very well-balanced and well-rounded blend.

How is the sillage. and longevity of Acqua di Giò Profumo?
Acqua di Giò Profumo has strong projection. To be honest, the fragrance has moderate sillage, but it’s’ projection makes up for it.
The lifespan of the fragrance is fantastic. I can keep it on my skin for 6-7 hours, but my clothes always have a lingering scent, even after a day of two of spraying the fragrance. The fragrance is an excellent value for money, considering it smells fantastic, and the smell stays on forever .
The beginning is just stunning, with a very fresh and aquatic feel to it. Because the scent is so nice, I frequently open the box at home and sniff the bottle. It gradually changes from fresh to woody over time. A little cucumber note is usually present in the background for me. For an aquatic, the durability is adequate.
How versatile is Acqua di Giò Profumo?
Acqua di Giò Profumo is a true gentleman’s scent. It has a really macho feel about it. Acqua di Giò Profumo is elegant and well-rounded, and can be worn to more formal events as well as with jeans and a tee.

You don’t have to search elsewhere if you want to smell incredibly distinctive and opulent. Acqua di Gio Profumo is an extremely well-made fragrance, that is sure to garner you lots of compliments.
In my opinion, a really well-made fragrance with a unique scent. It’s difficult not to like it. The fragrance smells wonderful and lasts a long time. Whoever merely wants to smell fresh and manly and maybe get a praise or two is well served by Acqua di Gio’s big dark brother that is Acqua di Gio Profumo .
